Chu Liuyue watched Rong Zhen quietly.

"Fourth Princess, this joke isn't funny at all."

Rong Zhen's laughter stopped abruptly as she looked toward Chu Liuyue.

She saw a pair of clear, bright eyes, like black jade, staring at her.

Those eyes were undisturbed, a picture of calm, yet they inexplicably inspired a sense of dread.

A chill seemed to rise from the depths of her heart, causing her entire body to shrink back slightly.

Realizing that she was actually afraid of Chu Liuyue, a sudden surge of anger flared in Rong Zhen's heart, and she violently yanked the rope!

She had endured enough frustration these past few days; now even Chu Liuyue dared to speak to her like this!

Chu Liuyue glanced at her, turned, and continued walking forward.

The group proceeded peacefully.

She asked impatiently

"How much further is it?! Chu Liuyue, you aren't fooling this Princess, are you!?"

Rong Zhen immediately looked forward.

In the lush, green forest not far away, there was a lake with white mist rising from it.

Rong Zhen immediately turned her head!

Beneath the white mist, one could faintly see ripples spreading outward from the center of the lake!

Unable to hide her excitement, she hurried toward it.

However, just as she reached the lakeshore, a massive white figure suddenly lunged out from the lake! It was heading straight for her!
