What is Polyread?
Polyread is a reading library for translated web novels and fanfiction. It brings discovery, chapter reading, progress, collections, and available translation editions into one place.
How are Recommendations chosen?
The public recommendation shelf rotates among widely read titles so it does not stay identical forever. Signed-in readers with books in their library may receive recommendations related to what they already read.
What does Trending mean?
Trending reflects reader activity during the selected period. It is an activity signal, not an editorial ranking or a guarantee that a story will suit every reader.
Are translations made by people or AI?
Many non-English chapters on Polyread are machine-translated with AI, and quality can vary by title, chapter, and edition. The reader shows the available edition so you can choose another version when one exists.
Why can a chapter or title be unavailable?
A chapter may still be importing, waiting for translation, hidden after a quality review, or unavailable because the source changed. Polyread only exposes chapters that pass its public readability checks.
How does reading progress work?
Reading progress is saved in your browser and, when supported by your account state, used to help you continue where you stopped. Clearing browser data or changing devices can affect locally stored progress.
How do I report a bug or translation problem?
Use the Report a bug control in the site footer and include the page where the problem occurred. For a translation issue, include the novel, chapter, and edition shown in the reader.
How can a rights holder request a review or removal?
Use the Copyright and Takedown page for the required information and review process. Polyread keeps this separate from ordinary bug reports so rights requests can be handled consistently.
Still need help?
Use Report a bug in the footer for a product problem, or read Copyright & Takedown for a rights-related request.
