Five days.

It had already been five consecutive days.

Every time the hour of the Rat arrived—when the dew grew heavy and the entire world fell into a chaotic silence—she would be kidnapped and abducted.

This was the sixth night.

Lin Huiyin thought to herself that she would absolutely not let the same thing happen a sixth time.

Outside the window, the hazy moonlight was as clear as water, pouring down from the heavens. Using the bright light, Lin Huiyin stared intently at the hourglass before her without blinking.

The fine blue sand flowed quietly; it was almost at the bottom, signaling that the hour of the Rat was approaching, and simultaneously representing that the person who kidnapped her was about to appear.

A thin layer of tension rose through Lin Huiyin's entire body, and her hands, clutching her lapels, subconsciously tightened slightly.

In the hourglass, only a tiny wisp of blue sand remained.

Five, four, three, two...

Lin Huiyin counted silently in her heart. The surrounding space was eerily quiet; she felt as if her heart was about to stop beating.

One...

Just as Lin Huiyin settled on this number in her heart, the blue sand before her happened to run out.

The hour of the Rat arrived—

Lin Huiyin pursed her lips defensively, only to hear a faint sound coming from the window behind her. She instinctively turned her head to look, but felt a sudden wave of dizziness in her brain, and her entire being rapidly plunged into unconsciousness.

The place where she was currently located was damp and cold, like a dungeon that never saw the light of day.

It was pitch black in every direction, with no light leaking in whatsoever.

Lin Huiyin could clearly feel that the man beside her was just like her, without a shred of clothing, completely naked.

Yet, his body temperature was the complete opposite of the damp cold of this space.

Dry as a raging fire, scalding and burning.

No matter how she struggled or resisted, in the end, she would still be humiliated by this man.

But, she was unwilling.

She was unwilling to have her innocence stolen time and time again by a completely unknown man whose origins and motives were a mystery.

Thinking of this, Lin Huiyin exerted all her strength, struggling desperately.
