Chapter 7: Losing Loved Ones

Xiao Luo was drowsy when she was suddenly jolted awake by the sound of intense fighting. She rubbed her eyes and, upon opening them, heard only a heavy *thud* coming from beside her.

As her vision cleared, she saw it was her Master, covered in blood!

"Master!" she cried out in alarm, attempting to scramble out from the little medicinal狸's (medicinal raccoon dog's) nest.

"Don't come out!" The Poisonous Hand Holy Physician suddenly struck, sealing Xiao Luo's acupoints, before leaping up.

Pinned there and unable to move, Xiao Luo could only watch helplessly as her Master was besieged by five or six men in black. Those men were also splattered with blood, but strangely, they seemed to be impervious to pain; every time Master wounded them, their assault only grew more violent.

Gradually, the Poisonous Hand Holy Physician grew weaker, and the blood on his body increased. Xiao Luo desperately wanted to go out and help, but she was unable to move.

Suddenly, the figures before her eyes blurred into a flash of red light, followed by another heavy *thud*. Master was once again slammed violently to the ground. With a flash of cold light, a long sword pierced straight into his chest!
