Chapter 1: Author's Note on Reaching VIP Status

The novel has officially gone VIP! First of all, thank you to all my dear supporters!

I have poured a lot of heart and soul into *Feng Po*. I even overturned tens of thousands of words and rewrote them before finally gaining recognition. That is how I reached the current 300,000+ words. Of course, there will be many more to come, and the story will gradually push toward its climax.

Seeing your comments saying that you like it—honestly, I am quite excited, but the comments are still too few.

I know that I haven't been writing for very long. It has been exactly one year since I started gambling on stones. However, I am very gratified that I have been working hard. I haven't stopped typing since I began; even if it's just for one day, even if I am sick in the hospital, I persist in updating. I give myself a thumbs up. At the very least, I am constantly improving, and now *Feng Po* is able to bring relatively good plotlines to all of you dear readers.

Once again, I want to focus on *Feng Po* and my Xuan'er.

Many friends have asked if this will be a tragedy. Actually, life has its ups and downs, its sweetness and its bitterness; how could a story be any different? This story has been conceived quite thoroughly, and the outline is relatively complete. Many of the plots are full of twists and turns, and Xuan'er's experiences are quite winding, but she has never been a tragic figure. She is positive and upwardly mobile, never ceasing her pursuit of a happy life. Of course, there is deception involved, which may cause her great pain, but ultimately, everything will settle into tranquility.

In fact, when the male lead falls in love with her later and treats her well—that kind of bone-deep pampering—it is truly moving. However, Xuan'er cannot get over that hurdle. Yes, anyone else would be unable to get over it as well. It all depends on how the upcoming plot is arranged.

I actually have a plan in mind. I can only tell everyone that this is not a tragedy—at least, I don't think it is. Regardless of the outcome, the process within the text is very important, and you will find much joy in the process of reading.

I might add a cute baby; I'll discuss it with my editor when the time comes. Perhaps this will help dilute their hatred a bit, but the ending has already been set: they will ultimately be together. It's just that the process will be quite winding and unexpected.
