Chapter 50

In Lynn's dormitory within the Potion Garden, everything had returned to tranquility.

The aroma of potions and the mental fluctuations that had previously permeated the air gradually dissipated, finally bringing Lynn's cultivation to a close.

After three days of secluded cultivation, he had successfully stabilized his realm as a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice.

At this moment, Lynn's mental strength had reached 25 points, meeting the standard starting point for a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice.

With such vast mental strength, even when casting a zero-circle spell like the Daze spell—which offered no combat bonuses—he could likely shock an ordinary person to death through sheer mental impact.

However, Lynn's mental strength was currently restricted to five points, and his usable spells were limited accordingly; in terms of actual casting, he could likely only cast five Ice Arrows.

Even so, this was still a massive improvement for someone who had just broken through.

After all, previously, he could cast at most two Ice Arrows.

Furthermore, what excited him even more was that he could already see the dawn of progress.

He had already broken through the barrier of being a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice.

Next, he only needed to become a formal Wizard to completely liberate the restrictions of the Life Seed, harvest the fruit produced by the blooming Life Seed, and thereby obtain a second permanent spell imprint, stepping toward a higher wizarding realm.

"A formal Wizard... it is time to start preparing for that," Lynn murmured to himself, a flash of determination crossing his eyes.

As a certain senior in the wizarding world once said: "An apprentice who does not wish to become a wizard is not a good apprentice."

Becoming a formal Wizard was the ultimate goal for every apprentice, but the path to that realm was destined not to be smooth.

Level 3 Wizard Apprentice was a starting point for Lynn; next, he would make full preparations to break through the barrier to formal Wizardry.

"First, I must improve my level of potion studies, and then I will complete those three unfinished potions."

Lynn's gaze was firm, and a detailed plan had already formed in his mind.

If it were any other wizard apprentice holding unfinished potions, they might choose to sell them to others or spend a fortune to hire someone to fix them.

But Lynn was different. He possessed his own talent and believed that by improving his potion studies, he could repair these three potions and even transform them into his own power.

Originally, Lynn thought he would likely be summoned by Archmage Helen, given that he had personally participated in the battle in the Emerald Island Great Forest and possessed considerable knowledge of the entire event.

However, strangely, Archmage Helen seemed to have completely forgotten him, as she had never proactively sought him out.

Although he couldn't help but feel some doubt, Lynn was content with the leisure.

He didn't care about the situation in the Emerald Island Great Forest.

Even though the Black Dragon Witch had disappeared and the Furnace Army had been defeated, what did that have to do with him? The Furnace wasn't his home.

Though he had participated in the battle, it was merely a dispute between wizards; he was nothing more than an apprentice caught in the middle.

Even if the sky were to fall, there would always be those tall wizards to hold it up.

The matters of the Emerald Island Great Forest should be resolved by Archmage Helen and the other Level 3 wizards; there was absolutely no need for Lynn to interfere.

After lifting the contract restrictions, Lynn decided not to involve himself in the war with the Furnace any longer.

If he had to find one thing to care about, it would be praying that Sonia and Colin were safe and sound.

After all, the two had a good relationship with him, and Lynn naturally hoped they could pass through the crisis safely.

But even so, his concern remained at the level of prayer.

Asking him to personally go to the battlefield to rescue them was clearly unrealistic.

Lynn's thoughts gradually returned to his own cultivation.

He needed to improve his potion studies. Although he had the benefit of talent, he knew that one could not improve alchemy skills through mere thought alone.

Refining potions required not only solid theoretical knowledge but also unique techniques and practical experience.

Armchair generalship would never allow one to master true alchemy skills.

Fortunately, as a member of the Potion Garden, Lynn knew that as long as he could successfully pass the assessment and enter the core area of the Potion Garden, he would be able to access more advanced alchemy techniques.

Therefore, Lynn knew it was time to get to work!

"The Furnace should be laughing in secret to have such a proactive and energetic employee..."

Lynn gave a self-deprecating smile, then decided to find Remy to learn about the recent situation in the Potion Garden.

The Potion Garden remained vast and silent, as if devoid of any signs of life.

Following the familiar path, Lynn arrived at the outer greenhouses, knowing this was where apprentices cultivated extraordinary plants.

Every so often, apprentices would switch to a different greenhouse to continue new cultivation tasks.

Thus, he went directly to a steward in charge of apprentice affairs.

However, the answer he received surprised him.

Remy had actually left the greenhouses and entered the core area of the Potion Garden.

This change caused Lynn to freeze momentarily.

Remy, as a Level 1 Wizard Apprentice, could actually enter the core area of the Potion Garden? This left Lynn feeling quite astonished.

"How did he get in? I remember Remy was only a Level 1 Wizard Apprentice, right?" Lynn couldn't help but ask.

The steward frowned, clearly not expecting the question, and shook his head. "I'm not sure either. He passed the assessment regardless..."

He hesitated for a moment before adding, "Lynn, when are you coming back? Since Remy left, the potion maintenance work is a bit short-staffed. We need you now..."

Lynn smiled slightly. "Lord Helen might still need me; it will likely be a while longer..."

Lynn pulled rank. Although he wanted to return, it was clearly impossible for him to return simply to maintain potions.

Since Remy could go directly into the core area, why couldn't he?

The steward was speechless upon hearing this. He didn't know who Lord Helen was, but from the way Lynn spoke, she was most likely a formal Wizard.

He naturally wouldn't want to offend a formal Wizard, so he could only watch as Lynn departed.

The scale of the Potion Garden was immense. The outer area consisted of vast greenhouse zones, while the interior featured towering clusters of buildings.

The connecting area between the two was a garden walkway, lined on both sides with all sorts of exotic flowers.

Lynn was in no hurry to enter the core area; instead, he chose to wait quietly on this mandatory path through the garden walkway.

After all, while he couldn't enter the core area directly, if he could wait until Remy left, he might have a chance to scout the situation.

He chose to arrive here during the lunch break, waiting for Remy's figure to appear.

As time passed, Lynn saw one figure after another, dressed in wizard robes, emerging from the core area and walking toward the exit of the Potion Garden.

Lynn standing there was quite conspicuous, but he had no intention of playing the "pig to eat the tiger" act, so he directly released his aura as a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice.

Even if people were suspicious, no one wanted to proactively provoke this strange Level 3 apprentice, so no one disturbed him.
