"What? Lin Yi? He's here? Where?"
Zhong Pinliang was also startled. He hurriedly looked up in the direction Zhang Naipao was pointing!
Sure enough, he saw Lin Yi walking leisurely through the school gate, wearing his school uniform and carrying a backpack.

Zhong Pinliang clenched his fists. "He knows how to play both sides. He's so obedient in front of Zou Ruoming, but he looks down on me, Zhong Pinliang? I'll be damned if I don't make him my mortal enemy!"
Zhang Naipao and Gao Xiaofu were also fuming. This was a provocation—a blatant provocation! Were they really that much inferior to Zou Ruoming and his group?
As the three were seething with anger, a dramatic scene occurred. Lin Yi tossed the basketball, but the ball struck Zou Ruoming's hand, passed through, and then slammed directly into his face.
Immediately after, Zou Ruoming's nose sprayed blood, and he collapsed to the ground...

Zhang Naipao's jaw dropped.
"I knew Lin Yi wasn't a good person. How could he be so submissive!"
As he said this, Zhong Pinliang felt a sense of relief in his heart. To be honest, seeing Lin Yi bow to Zou Ruoming just now had made him very uncomfortable. "That's true," Zhang Naipao nodded in deep agreement. "It seems we'd better not provoke this guy. He's a total brute."

Chu Mengyao glanced at Lin Yi and curled her lip. "Maybe he's having success in his love life." For some reason, Chu Mengyao thought of the scene between Lin Yi and Song Lingshan in the hospital yesterday.
"Oh, that little vixen Song Lingshan, acting like she's so noble!"
Chen Yushu also thought of yesterday's scene and said indignantly. What made her even more upset was that her brother could actually like a woman like that.
In Chen Yushu's view, Lin Yi was passable; if one set aside their prejudices, he was a fairly handsome and capable man, but he wasn't on par with her brother. Therefore, she was very resentful that Song Lingshan had fallen for him.
