In the World of Investiture of the Gods: Rising from Obscurity, I am the God of Wealth

However, at this time, the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods was imminent. Yang Xuan remained clear-headed; to ensure his own survival, he decided to join the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court had only recently been established and was short on manpower. If he could enter the Heavenly Court early and achieve apotheosis in his physical body, he would be safe from the great calamity! Thus, combining his own Great Dao, Yang Xuan established marketplaces in the mortal realm, minted Virtue Coins, befriended the Human Emperor Da Yu, obtained the status of the Human Race's God of Wealth, and stabilized the order of the human race. Afterward, he ascended to the Nine Heavens, successively appointing the Four Spirits, the Nine Departments, the Twenty-Eight Mansions, and the gods of the Thunder Department, while establishing the Heavenly Laws to perfect the structure of the Heavenly Court. He descended to the Nine Netherworlds, met with Hou Tu, and created the Underworld, the Eighteen Levels of Hell, the River of Forgetfulness, and the Bridge of Helplessness. He established the laws of the ghostly path and became the Great Emperor of Fengdu of the Underworld. When the Investiture of the Gods descended, Yang Xuan planned every step, eventually becoming the Central Great Subtle Order Wealth-Governing Heavenly Venerable!
