Transmigrating to a Life of Honor and Wealth: Raising the Heir of the Childless Heir

Chapter 37: Share of Spirit Plants

Qin Lang, however, thought differently. He nimbly went to the study and brought back a chair.

As everyone looked over, Qin Lang explained, "There will be spirit plants to share."

Qin Tan almost wanted to scold the boy. "She's blinded by anger, can't you see? You're just adding to the chaos."

"Sister," Qin Lang asked aggrievedly, "Are you really blinded by anger?"

He actually believed it. *Sharing spirit plants?* This time, the siblings in the manor had all followed Qin He's child to the beast realm's small space for training, and the harvest had been significant. Qin Lang was green with envy.

He wanted spirit plants too; it was just sitting in a chair, what was the big deal?

"I can't say for sure," Qin Bi said with a serious expression. While pondering, she added, "Whether or not I can share spirit plants, I'll only know once I sit in that chair. If you don't let me sit, there's no chance at all."

Qin Bi wasn't joking. Qin Tan and Qin Di stared at her in silence.

After a moment, Qin Tan grew tired of arguing. "Sit, then."

Qin Di was so angry he stopped speaking altogether. Since Qin Tan was the elder brother and had agreed, Qin Di essentially conceded. However, Qin Bi hesitated; with the elders present, it was indeed improper for her to sit in the chair.

But the urge to try was too strong. It was as if the spirit plants dug up by Qin He's child were within her grasp.

Qin Tang and Qin Xun did not offer an opinion; their father and third uncle were present.

At that moment, Qin Xun gave Qin Bi a meaningful look: "Hurry up and sit."

Qin Bi didn't stand on ceremony and went to sit in the chair. Qin Di's eyebrow twitched; this girl was becoming unmanageable. With two elders standing right there, she actually had the audacity to covet the chair.

Qin Bi intended to sit only briefly to see if it worked, but once she was seated, she faced the patch of soil on the ground, hesitated for a moment, and then waved her hand.

"Come back," Qin Bi commanded.

Qin Tan was still watering the plants when the soil flashed with light. Everyone was startled as many spirit plants flickered before Qin Tan's eyes. His pupils contracted; his reflexes were sharp, and he instinctively reached out to catch them.

There were so many spirit plants that Qin Tan almost couldn't hold them all.

It was a miraculous scene, unlike anything the people present had ever seen in their lives.

Qin Bi had imagined bringing the spirit plants back countless times in her mind, but now that it had actually happened, she froze. Sitting in the chair, she stared at the spirit plants held by her third uncle, Qin Tan.

Qin Di and the others were dumbfounded, standing as still as wooden chickens.

"My heavens!" Qin Xun whispered in shock.

The spirit plants had appeared out of thin air; he was afraid that if he spoke too loudly, they would vanish into nothingness.

Qin Tan was clutching the spirit plants. Because they had suddenly appeared, he couldn't catch them all, and a few fell to the ground. He didn't even have time to be stunned; he hurriedly scrambled to pick them up.

"Sister, Sister! What kind of spell is that?" Qin Lang was both shocked and excited, his speech becoming incoherent. He took a few steps toward Qin Bi, then realized his sister was looking too imposing and stepped back. Qin Lang said, "Bring some more spirit plants!"

Qin Bi was also excited, but she managed to keep her composure. Whether she could do it again remained to be seen.

"More spirit plants?" Now that Qin Bi was sitting in the chair, she felt quite secure. She no longer worried about the elders scolding her for sitting. Narrowing her eyes, she gave a grand wave of her hand. "Alright."

Qin Lang was quick-witted. With a *whoosh*, he ran and stood in the soil. A flash of light occurred, and he ended up clutching a handful of beast crystals. Qin Lang froze for a second, then broke into a wide, beaming grin.

As some crystals fell to the ground, he picked them up happily.

Qin Tang and the others were utterly stunned, standing there in a daze.

Qin Xun even foolishly imitated Qin Lang. He walked toward Qin Bi and urged her excitedly, "Can you bring more crystals? Spirit plants are fine too!"

Qin Bi sensed the surroundings and, no longer needing the chair, stood up and said, "That's it."

Qin Xun froze, blinking his eyes. "No... no more??!!!"

Qin Di finally snapped out of it and ran over to Qin Tan and Qin Lang to inspect the spirit plants and crystals. There was no time to count the plants, but by eye, there were about two hundred, ranging in various spiritual elements. There were also about twenty crystals.

Qin Tan had no time to attend to anyone else. He handed the spirit plants to Qin Di and went over to consult Qin Bi, his face unable to suppress his excitement. "I'll go fetch your grandfather's chair, and you can use the spell again."

"It doesn't matter whose chair I fetch," Qin Bi said, speechless. All her intense drive had vanished; she was spent. "I don't know how to use the spell anymore. It was only because Qin He's child dug up the plants I planted that I found a way to bring them back. Now that the plants are back and I've even gained crystals, I'm out of luck."

Qin Tan was stunned for a moment, but then he let it go. "That's fine too. If you can't do it, you can't do it!"

Qin Lang continued to rejoice, clutching his crystals.

"Stop grinning like an idiot." Qin Tan took the crystals from his arms.

Qin Lang ran happily toward Qin Bi. "Sister, do your words still count? Are you really going to share the spirit plants with me?"

Since there were no outsiders, Qin Bi said, "I'll share the spirit plants, and the crystals will be shared as well."

Qin Tang and Qin Xun grew excited. They didn't rush to divide the plants and crystals; instead, they quickly gathered the soil and placed the treasures into Qin Bi's storage bag. Qin Tan even felt as though the surrounding plants were imbued with spiritual energy.

Back in the study, they counted the spirit plants. There were fewer than two hundred, meaning about thirty each.

Qin Tan tried to distribute the crystals, but Qin Bi refused.

"These belong to Qin He. Her child dug up my plants, so I'm just taking a few of her crystals." Qin Bi had no interest. "I don't want her things. You all share them."

Qin Lang thought this was a bit foolish; crystals could be used for cultivation, and every cultivator wanted them.

Qin Lang asked, "You really don't want them?!"

"I don't." Leaving those words behind, Qin Bi wandered off to one side.

This wasn't just her being polite; she had moved away, meaning she truly didn't want them.

There were only twenty-one crystals. Among the five of them, Qin Tan took charge and gave Qin Di one extra. Since it was his daughter, it was only right, and Qin Di accepted it without being impolite.

Having obtained the spirit plants and crystals, everyone finally felt that this was real.

Just now, it had felt like a dream. Everyone had held onto the plants and crystals tightly, fearing they might vanish in the blink of an eye. Since they had appeared and disappeared so quickly, it wasn't surprising that it felt surreal.

Now that they held the items without fear of them vanishing, Qin Tan asked Qin Bi about the situation: "What kind of spell did you use to bring the plants back? Those plants should be in Qin He's possession, right?"

Qin Bi took her storage bag and said, "I have the soil. As long as I have the soil these plants grew in, I can bring them back."

When asked for specifics, Qin Bi couldn't explain clearly. She simply said, "I just kept thinking about coming to the Marquis of Yan's manor. As long as my father and brothers backed me up, I would find a way to bring them back."

Qin Tan was bewildered. Having served as a county magistrate for many years, he considered himself well-traveled and knowledgeable, yet he had never encountered such a situation. However, the world of cultivation was ever-changing; it wasn't strange that he hadn't seen it before.

Qin Lang immediately crowded closer. "I'll back you up from now on, too."

Qin Bi smiled, her eyes slightly moist. When she needed help, the Third Branch had indeed backed her up by taking her away from the capital. She kept that in her heart and had never forgotten.

Qin Tan nodded in agreement and added, "If you need anything, go to the Third Branch. Your father and I are no different."
