Transmigrating Through the Interstellar: My Wife's Glory and My Honor
Chapter 27: Third-Grade Spiritual Medicine
Luo Bi let out two mischievous chuckles, not letting the other party guess this time: "I awakened both Soul Source Power and Mental Power, but both are at the low level. You wouldn't believe it—that white halo was almost invisible on the testing stone; you could barely make it out."
Then, Luo Bi rambled on to Jiang Zhu about awakening all attributes while having low physical stamina, finally saying indignantly, "You know how everyone else awakens only a single attribute? Why did I awaken a whole bunch at once? It should be a good thing, but it turned me into a useless person. I'd have been better off not awakening at all!" She was speaking out of frustration, but in truth, she was still very glad she had awakened; even as a "useless person," she was still beyond the ranks of ordinary people.
Jiang Zhu listened, stunned, and it took a while for him to snap out of it. "How should I put this? It's a bit of a pity. If you hadn't awakened all attributes, you might have become a distinguished Contract Master through future training. Honestly, what a mess."
What should have been a wonderful thing had been ruined by those all-encompassing attributes. Given the situation with Luo Bi's family, the resources they could provide her were limited; in the future, she would likely stop at being a Contract Disciple, with little hope of becoming a Contract Master.
Wu Yue, who had been listening from the side, spoke up: "Don't dwell on it too much. This is already quite good."
By this time, Luo Bi had basically said everything she wanted to say and heard everything she wanted to hear. Her emotions had stabilized, and just as she saw Hua Ran coming downstairs, she exchanged a few more words before hanging up the communication.
Looking listless, Hua Ran sat down on the sofa and asked, "Haven't Father and Mother returned yet?" He had placed a call about an hour ago and knew his parents were at the main residence.
"No, I just called; Father said they'll be back soon." Luo Bi raised her hand and transferred two million to Hua Ran. "With this extra two million, the Interstellar Credits for buying spiritual medicines should be enough. Hurry up and buy them!"
Hua Ran froze for a moment, glancing at the incoming transaction on his terminal. "Did Feng Ling pay you these two million credits?" When he had spoken to Luo Hang, Luo Hang had mentioned that Luo Bi had given away the Crimson Jade Stone.
"Mhm!" Luo Bi nodded. "He gave an extra four hundred thousand."
Feng Ling had resolved their family's urgent crisis, and Luo Bi remembered it; she hoped Hua Ran would remember it too.
Having understood the situation, Hua Ran went to his room to get his light computer and logged into the Star Net to purchase Grade 3 spiritual medicines. Luo Bi leaned in to watch. On the page, there was a dedicated sales window for spiritual medicines. The sales area was filled with spiritual medicines that ordinary people rarely encountered. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't hard to see that they were all Grade 5 or below; there were none above Grade 5.
Grade 5 and above could be considered God-level spiritual medicines. Even if ordinary people had the Interstellar Credits, they wouldn't be able to buy them, so it was normal for them not to be on the Star Net. Even if they were, they would likely be snatched up in less than a second.
In the Grade 3 spiritual medicine section, the efficacy and quality varied. The efficacy of spiritual medicines was divided into nine levels. Those with 10% to 20% efficacy cost around five million; 30% to 40% cost around 5.5 million; and 50% efficacy reached as high as 5.9 million.
Luo Bi didn't even bother looking at medicines with over 60% efficacy; looking was useless because she couldn't afford them.
Hua Ran took an interest in a bottle with 20% efficacy. "Let's just take this one!"
"No," Luo Bi protested.
Hua Ran looked at her, and after a moment of thought, Luo Bi said, "Higher prices definitely mean better efficacy. 10% or 20% is too low. I haven't really worn the storage ring Hua Chen gave me, so it looks quite new. If we sell it, it should be worth over four hundred thousand. If we scrape a bit more together, we can buy that bottle with 40% efficacy."
