Transmigrating Through the Interstellar: My Wife's Glory and My Honor

Chapter 24: The Result

While waiting, a few more people stood behind Luo Bi, all of whom were still children. During this time, the little boy in front turned back again to chat with Luo Bi. Being in a bad mood, Luo Bi only responded with sporadic, half-hearted small talk.

Finally, it was the little boy's turn. He waved to Luo Bi and went with his parents to undergo the test.

Feng Ling walked over, stood for a moment, and then looked up at the digital display above the hall. "It's your turn," he said.

Luo Bi suddenly felt a surge of nervousness as she followed Feng Ling into the elevator to the testing floor.

There weren't many people on this floor, and it was quite quiet. A staff member in charge of testing first glanced at Feng Ling in his military uniform, then turned his gaze to Luo Bi before saying, "Follow me."

The three of them walked to a place where several transparent stones were placed. The staff member said, "These are testing stones. Just place your hand on them. Try the one for testing mental power first."

Luo Bi pursed her lips, stepped forward, placed her hand on the stone, and stared intently at it.

Both Soul Source Power and Mental Power were divided into seven levels: white, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple, with white being the lowest and purple the highest. Luo Bi wasn't seeking the highest purple level; she just wanted to awaken. At this moment, the confidence she had held in her heart began to waver.

Sometimes, when people are too nervous, they become prone to anxiety over gains and losses.

Soon, a faint white glow appeared on the testing stone, so weak that it was almost indiscernible.

"Mental power awakened, low grade," the staff member's voice rang out.

Luo Bi couldn't tell if she was disappointed or not; her hand remained on the testing stone, unsure whether to pull it away. The staff member pointed to another testing stone and said, "The mental power test is finished. That one is for testing Soul Source Power."

So, Luo Bi placed her hand on the other testing stone. Once again, a faint white light appeared, with an intensity similar to the previous one.

A hint of surprise appeared in the staff member's eyes. "I didn't expect you to awaken Soul Source Power at the same time. Although the grade is also low, awakening both abilities simultaneously is quite good."

Feng Ling was standing right beside them and stepped forward to take a look upon hearing this.

The simultaneous awakening of both abilities was somewhat within Luo Bi's expectations, but the extremely low grades left her feeling somewhat dazed.

"Let's test your attributes!" the staff member said.

Luo Bi blankly placed her hand on the designated testing stone. Various pale colors appeared on the stone simultaneously. The staff member was truly astonished; he leaned in to observe, clicking his tongue and shaking his head.

Feng Ling also frowned.

Luo Bi's heart sank. She heard the staff member say, "How strange. You've actually awakened every single attribute. What a pity..."

Everyone present knew exactly what he meant by "pity."

If someone who awakened mental power also awakened the water attribute, they would highly likely become a future Energy Contractor. Similarly, if someone who awakened Soul Source Power also awakened the fire, wood, or earth attributes, they would become a future Alchemist Contractor.

Whether an Energy Contractor or an Alchemist Contractor, both were highly respected and held noble status throughout the galaxy.

But Luo Bi did not belong to either category. She had awakened all attributes, but this was not a good thing. It was the case of being "jack of all trades, master of none"—having too many attributes meant she could not specialize, which was a terrible situation.

In short, the abilities Luo Bi awakened were low-grade, and her attributes were completely useless. Given her situation, it was hard to say whether she could achieve anything regardless of which direction she chose to develop in the future.
