Chapter 4: Promise

Just as Ye Xiyuan was about to kick Ye Leng'an out, a voice suddenly echoed in her mind.

She was not surprised at all, clearly aware of the existence of this so-called "System." "Are you saying I can't kick her out?"

Hearing these words, Ye Li and Lin Wanqin could not help but show expressions of gratification.

"Sister, I know you mean well," Ye Leng'an said, showing no sign of softening. "However, I must eventually return to my own home, mustn't I? Besides, now that you've returned, won't your adoptive parents miss their biological daughter?"
