"Hmph," the girl who had been pinched earlier also held her head high to meet her gaze, pouting as she retorted, "Some people just have their eyes stuck on the top of their heads, completely oblivious. Who do they think the Chief is? Is he someone an ordinary person can covet? They should take a look at their own pathetic state first."

"Exactly. They can't get close to the Chief themselves, so they go mad with jealousy when they see someone else being carried by him. People like that are the most pathetic." A woman who looked slightly older than the girl chimed in to help.

"I bet that woman just now must have been incredibly beautiful; otherwise, the Chief wouldn't have carried her himself."

"If you ask me, the Chief has taken a fancy to her. Don't we all know about the Chief's mysophobia? What good is being pretty? Who else has he ever made an exception for?"

"Right, right. So, people really need to weigh their own worth. Not just anyone can go around harboring ideas."

The woman who had spoken up earlier with obvious jealousy and spite had her face turn a mix of pale and green as they sang in harmony, one after the other. She glared at them with resentment, then stomped away in her high heels, unwilling to let it go.

"Hey, did she just glare at me?! Is she trying to see who has bigger eyes? Mine are much bigger!" As she spoke, she widened her eyes with effort, bulging them out like a fish's eyes. Hmm, they were indeed bigger than hers.

"Alright, you know how she is. Don't waste your breath on her."

"I know, I just can't stand her being so arrogant, thinking she can seduce people just because she has a bit of looks." She paused, then added with excitement, "Sister Ai, seriously, I saw that girl's profile just now. Her skin was amazing, so supple and tender. She must be stunning."

Ai Ling sighed helplessly at the mischievous girl.

The girl playfully stuck out her tongue and turned to face the lobby with a straight face.

Han Mohen carried Feng Liyue out of the company, and the driver, A-Wen, immediately opened the back door for him.

Han Mohen placed Feng Liyue inside, then sat in himself, leaning back against the seat with his eyes closed to rest, paying no mind to the unconscious woman beside him.

A-Wen drove with focus, eyes fixed straight ahead.

After driving for a while, the car stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, A-Wen started the engine and began to pull away, but suddenly a car ran a red light from the side, startling A-Wen into slamming on the brakes.

Because the braking was so sudden, the woman in the back seat lurched forward, her head hitting the back of the front seat hard before she slumped unconsciously to the side.

Han Mohen slowly opened his eyes, clearly displeased by the sudden turn of events.

A-Wen broke out in a cold sweat.

Han Mohen glanced at the woman who had fallen onto him, frowned slightly, and straightened her up. "Drive."

"Yes." A-Wen started the car, trembling. He glanced at the back seat through the rearview mirror, but Han Mohen had already closed his eyes again.

The car finally drove smoothly into a classical-style grand castle.

The imposing iron gate made a heavy, ancient sound. Along the roads on both sides, lush greenery was planted, and every ten meters, two guards stood at attention—dignified and upright.

After another ten minutes of driving, A-Wen finally parked the car outside the courtyard of the ancient castle.

Han Mohen had already opened his eyes. A-Wen opened the car door, and Han Mohen stepped out, then leaned in to carry the other person out of the car.

People were already waiting outside the castle gate. Seeing him appear, they all bowed respectfully in unison. "Your Highness."

Han Mohen carried Feng Liyue, walking calmly past them and into the castle.

The driver, A-Wen, drove the car to the castle's designated parking lot before he finally snapped out of his daze.

Did he really see that correctly? His Highness brought a woman back?
