Chapter 2: The Two-Thousand-Year-Old Child, Baili Yuan (New book launched, please follow/subscribe)

The reason Baili Yuan accepted the system was, on one hand, out of pity, and also because he wanted someone to talk to. On the other hand, it was because he had used his own light to sense the Egg System and knew it held no malice toward him.

As an Ultraman, Baili Yuan had been taught since childhood to trust in his own strength and his own light. The feedback he received from his light was what led him to choose to accept the Egg System.

In fact, after the Egg System’s introduction, Baili Yuan gained a simple understanding of such a miraculous existence.

The system was a special entity existing between fantasy and reality. Because of this, it could perform all sorts of miraculous feats, though it required a host to serve as its anchor.

After the Egg System possessed him, it gave Baili Yuan two starter items.

One was an Egg Detector, which could detect the location of all eggs within a certain range. The other was the system’s built-in Egg-Smashing Hammer, designed specifically for smashing eggs, with the unique attribute of being indestructible.

After the system was activated, eggs also began to spawn within the spatial turbulence. However, most of the eggs that spawned in the spatial turbulence were in extremely dangerous locations, surrounded by spatial storms of varying sizes. Baili Yuan could barely dodge them in time; how could he possibly be reckless enough to go pick up eggs?

Furthermore, eggs could only be smashed after being picked up; otherwise, they were unusable.

After a fierce internal struggle, Baili Yuan decided to take a risk. Since he was going to die anyway, why not give it a shot?

After some searching, he found a Supreme Egg. The spatial storms surrounding the Supreme Egg were incredibly violent; a single imbalance would trigger an explosion of spatial energy, which would absolutely be enough to tear through the spatial barrier!

Baili Yuan used his final bit of light to attack the spatial storm, successfully detonating it. The explosion of spatial energy shattered the spatial barrier, and Baili Yuan was, as he had hoped, flung out of the spatial turbulence—though it didn't feel very pleasant.

When Baili Yuan opened his eyes again, he found himself in an unfamiliar world—the world he was currently in.

Although he didn't know where he was, the environment here was clearly far superior to that of the spatial turbulence.

That, in short, was the story of Baili Yuan and the Egg System, as well as the process of his transmigration.

Baili Yuan had been in this world for five days, and he had gained a preliminary understanding of the situation.

However, Baili Yuan’s own condition was not very good.

First, his light was exhausted. Fortunately, Baili Yuan had regressed to his human form; although he couldn't transform, his life was preserved.

As for the remaining higher-rank eggs, they were all in the residences of people who were clearly powerful and influential, or on their persons, guarded by others. Baili Yuan didn't dare to barge in.

Although an Ultraman’s human form possessed one percent of his transformed strength, don't forget, Baili Yuan wasn't very powerful even when transformed—he was just a child of over two thousand years old—and his strength in human form was even more limited.

And this world was certainly not a world of ordinary people!

As for the Diamond egg currently in front of Baili Yuan, it was the only Diamond egg he had encountered during this time.

And the location where it spawned was on that woman’s chest!
