Let's talk about the new book, and I'm asking for your continued readership.

The new book has been out for nearly a month now, and I've had many readers who enjoy it. As the author, I am incredibly happy—I almost want to keep my phone in my pocket all day long.

The initial inspiration for this book likely stems from cyberpunk. However, I have always felt a sense of detachment from Western cyberpunk content. What I want to write is "Cultivation Cyberpunk," much like the difference between Lovecraftian horror and Chinese-style Cthulhu mythos.

Some long-time readers might know that I made similar attempts as far back as my third-to-last book, *Calamity of Tomorrow*. At that time, however, my understanding of cyberpunk was quite superficial—it was just about cool gear, ubiquitous cybernetics, and mass-produced combat power.

I can only say that the cyberpunk elements back then were merely fashion statements in my books, acting as mere embellishments.

In my fourth-to-last book, *Records of the Old Days*, I attempted to incorporate themes of borrowing and debt within a cultivation system, trying to construct a cycle of interest that felt more "cyberpunk." This was when I truly began to capture a bit of that Cultivation Cyberpunk atmosphere. But my skill level was still insufficient and my understanding was lacking; I still couldn't quite capture the specific "flavor" of Cultivation Cyberpunk that I desired.

Then came my last book, *I Said I Could Reverse Time*. In that book, I wrote the Immortal Realm directly as a cyberpunk Immortal Realm. Unfortunately, due to an inconsistent style, combined with my own health issues and the protagonist becoming too overpowered, I failed to properly develop this realm, and it ended somewhat abruptly.

Now, after several years of accumulation, I have a much deeper understanding of the Cultivation Cyberpunk flavor I am aiming for. I feel that I am finally able to write a unique and interesting novel.

As more and more readers flock to this book, it has evolved from a personal interest into something that carries increasing responsibility. Seeing the words you leave behind every day makes me feel that I cannot let down the profound affection of so many readers.

However, this book is truly difficult to write. Because the worldview and the characters' philosophies are quite unconventional, I constantly have to "reset my brain" to keep writing. Sometimes, as I write... I unconsciously slip into a "normal" way of thinking and make the plot too conventional, forcing me to delete and rewrite. For instance, I just deleted two chapters.

Furthermore, the worldview requires constant logical deduction, so I can't write very fast... [laugh-cry emoji].

Finally, I want to say to my dear readers: you all display such incredible talent and brilliance in the chapter comments. Your insights are peak perfection, leaving me in awe.
