Chapter 13: Are you sure... you want to drink with me?

"Hmm?" Qin Yu spat out his chewing gum and grinned with an evil expression. "Not bad, that's a good idea!"

He was going to ruin that girl's reputation!

Arriving at the classroom, Qin Yu walked straight to Yun Ci's seat.

Yun Ci was wearing a cap, slumped over her desk, sleeping.

Qin Yu tapped on the desk.

Hearing the sound, Yun Ci finally raised her head.

Her cold, piercing eyes actually made Qin Yu feel a chill in his heart.

He cleared his throat twice. "Yun... Student Yun Ci, are you sleeping?"

Yun Ci pulled off her headphones, her voice raspy from just waking up. "What is it?"

Qin Yu plopped down on the desk, leaning sideways with a nonchalant, swaggering grin. "I wanted to apologize to you for what happened last time."

"Last time?" Yun Ci furrowed her cold brows. "What happened?"

Qin Yu's smile froze. "You... don't remember? Then do you even know who I am?!"

Yun Ci stared at him, narrowing her eyes. "I don't."

"..."

Qin Yu was completely stunned, his defeated expression looking particularly ridiculous.

"You even got into a fight with my lackey last time, how could you not remember!"

As he spoke, one of his lackeys poked his head out from behind and chimed in, "You kicked his knee so hard he had a comminuted fracture; he's still lying in the hospital!"

Only now, hearing this, did Yun Ci vaguely recall.

"So?" She swept a cold gaze back toward Qin Yu and asked rhetorically, "Do you want another round?"

"No, no, no." Qin Yu waved his hands hurriedly, putting on a grin. "It was all my lackey's fault last time. How could he hit a girl? To show my apology, I'll treat you to drinks. How about it?"

"Not interested."

Yun Ci rejected him bluntly, pulled her cap down, and slumped back down to continue sleeping.

Qin Yu was instantly infuriated.

Even the lackeys behind him began to whisper.

"Holy crap, this woman is way too arrogant."

"She actually dares to ignore the Boss. She's looking for death!"

"She's probably the first woman besides Ruan Feiyue who has dared to reject the Boss, right?"

Qin Yu glared fiercely at them.

Damn it, he had never seen such an ungrateful woman.

For the sake of Princess Feiyue, he had to suppress his anger and continue smiling obsequiously. "Student Yun Ci, don't be so cold. After seeing your skills last time, I sincerely admire you and truly want to be your friend. You wouldn't deny me even this much face, would you?"

Yun Ci gave no further reaction.

After a long time—so long that everyone thought she had truly fallen back asleep—she raised her head again. Her sharp gaze locked firmly onto Qin Yu.

Under that gaze, Qin Yu felt as if he were being stripped naked, unable to hide any secret, and a wave of dread washed over him.

The corners of Yun Ci's lips curled slightly. In her half-smile, there was a hint of something wicked. "Are you sure... you want to drink with me?"

It took Qin Yu a moment to snap out of it. "Of... of course..."

He immediately tossed a note onto the desk. "Tomorrow night, at this place. Be there!"

With that, he fled, leading his lackeys away.

Even after walking far away, he could still feel those dark eyes staring at him, sending chills from head to toe.

What the hell, why did that brat have such an inexplicably powerful aura!

At her seat, Yun Ci extended her slender fingers, picked up the note, and after a single glance, tossed it into the trash can.

Inside the private booth, the lights were dazzling, and over a dozen bottles of alcohol were lined up on the coffee table.

Qin Yu was lounging on the sofa with his legs crossed. "Did you bring all the alcohol?"

A lackey beside him smiled. "Yes, Boss. Don't worry, to deal with a single girl, this amount of alcohol is more than enough. I've also specially prepared a camera to ensure we capture her from every single angle!"

"Excellent!" Qin Yu clenched his fists, his eyes filled with resentment. He gritted his teeth and said, "This time, I will definitely make her kneel and beg for mercy!"
