13. Our History

"Let's continue our previous topic, Administrator. We need cohesion," said sociologist Norris Barry.

Later, during the process of rebuilding their homes, to compensate for the massive loss of population, the Earth Civilization began to use robots and artificial intelligence on a large scale to assist them. As artificial intelligence continued to develop, these robots even developed emotions and creative abilities, and the conflict between organic and inorganic species began to surface.

Relying on this super-technology, the Earth Civilization jumped their final fleet directly around the machine planet where the Contingency resided and completely destroyed it, finally ending the war.

The Contingency invasion was called the Second Catastrophe, and this era was known as the Second Era.

However, good times did not last. Due to the unreasonable use of the Hyperlane Core, a high-dimensional creature known as the 'Shabanash' crossed the rift in time and space during a hyperlane jump and descended into the galaxy.

The riddled galaxy, led by the Earth Civilization, put up a final resistance, but ultimately failed. All civilizations were destroyed, Earth was blown to pieces, and the last fleet of the galactic civilization was wiped out.

In the end, the Earth Civilization used the Hyperlane Core to build a mothership and sent the last seeds of civilization—the technology library, the talent pool, and the embryo bank—onto the mothership, then performed a jump of maximum distance to a random destination, eventually arriving here.

The invasion of the high-dimensional creature was called the Third Catastrophe, and that era was known as the Third Era.
