Chapter 27: Magic Infusion

"Before we begin everything, let us first learn a little trick for utilizing magical power—Magic Infusion!

A witch's magical power is the only energy among Level 3 and below that possesses the characteristic of infusion.

It is also the key that allows us witches to create exclusive magical items using ordinary materials!

Magic Infusion is essentially the process of covering an object that needs to be infused with magical power or mana, thereby staining it with magical properties. This requires a certain level of magical control.

However, whether it is mana or magical power, neither can be observed with the naked eye before it transforms into magic with obvious effects.

Because it is invisible, it is difficult to see the state of infusion.

Amisha placed her hand over the Developer Paper. Centered on her palm, a faint green spread out, quickly covering the entire sheet

"This is considered passing."

She adjusted slightly, making the green vary in depth, becoming uneven, or turning pale yellow, or even bright red: "Uneven color means the output speed of your magical power is unstable, which will lead to uneven infusion. Turning pale yellow means the output volume of your magical power is too low and fails to meet the standard for infusion. Red means the output volume is too high, which will cause damage to the infused object. None of these are passing.

As for how to output magical power—it exists within our bloodline; it is a part of our bodies. Unintentional instinct, clear intention, or intense emotion can all cause magical power to surge forth.

However, if you want stable and controllable magical power, driving it with clear intention is best.

To put it simply, clear your mind of distractions and focus solely on thinking about the magical power slowly emerging; that is how you achieve a thin coating across the entire Developer Paper.

You may all feel free to try; these Developer Papers have undergone special treatment and will not be easily damaged."

As soon as she finished speaking, the Developer Paper in front of one little witch turned blotchy with patches of blue and yellow, clearly having lost control of her thoughts for a moment.

Vasida and Sylph could not resist trying as well. As soon as their fingertips touched the Developer Paper, the paper turned completely red and showed a tendency to turn black.

"Control your output speed and volume! Do not rush!"

Amisha stepped down from the lectern

"Vasida and Sylph, you are Witches; your mana is much more powerful than magical power. You must be extra careful with the amount used! If magical power infusion requires 1 unit of magical power, mana infusion requires only one-thousandth, or even one-ten-thousandth, of that amount."

"Once the paper is fully colored, stop the output of magical power. After it returns to its original color in a while, you may continue practicing."

Her mana had not yet fully recovered, so she was even more afraid to use it lavishly. She was extremely stingy with its mobilization, opening only a tiny crack, thinking that to cover such a large sheet of Developer Paper, a little should be enough.

As a result, with a *swish*, a patch of red appeared on the Developer Paper, though unlike Vasida and the others, it was much lighter and not turning black.

The bright red Developer Papers of the three little witches in the first row stood out exceptionally against the sea of dark yellow, light yellow, and speckled green.

After waiting for about thirty seconds, the Developer Paper returned to a milky white.

The little witches continued their practice.

The other little witches practicing magical power infusion said: "A bit more, a bit more, the paper isn't green enough."

Moran, Vasida, and Sylph, the three practicing magical power infusion, said: "Too much, still too much! Less, even less!"

Unless a little witch lost control and poured her entire body's magical power into the Developer Paper, the paper would only show some red.

The gap between a Witch's magical power and a Sorceress's mana was evident.

The other little witches, conversely, mastered the output volume of magical power infusion much faster, and soon everyone's Developer Paper was a varying shade of green.

In this step, Moran and the other two found it much more difficult.

They tried many times before they could make the Developer Paper present a deep green.

However, perhaps because they spent more effort on controlling the output volume, their control improved, and they grasped the output speed slightly faster.

The rapid jumping of color depth on the Developer Paper soon became less pronounced.

Halfway through the class, the magical power of many little witches had been mostly consumed through continuous practice of magic infusion. They had to take advantage of the time when the Developer Paper recovered to bite into some Breadfruit to accelerate their recovery.

Fortunately, Breadfruit recovers magical power much faster than mana.

They could barely keep up with the consumption by munching on Breadfruit while practicing, though it made their tongues and stomachs feel a bit uncomfortable.

Lady Amisha even thoughtfully prepared a basket of Breadfruit for them, available for use at any time.
