Seventies: The Spicy Wife Following the Army Leads the Compound to Wealth and Counterattack

Chapter 47: Still a Master with Real Skills

Liu Chuxue watched the cowards retreating and let out a cold laugh. "What do you think?"

One of them, quick-witted enough to realize the situation was turning sour, quickly spoke up: "A misunderstanding, a misunderstanding! We were just playing around."

Thinking that she would likely have to come back here in the coming days, Liu Chuxue decided that if she didn't teach them a lesson now, they would surely cause her trouble later. She said pointedly, "This is the capital, a place of law and order, yet bandits are actually roaming about. I'd love to see if anyone actually cares to do anything about it."

One of the stout ones laughed arrogantly. "Heh, you little brat. You look like a total country bumpkin, but you've certainly got some nerve."

As he moved forward to grab her, Liu Chuxue executed a shoulder throw, sending him crashing straight to the ground. The fat man groaned, "Oh mother! You nearly killed me!"

The others had never encountered such a scene. Previously, they had succeeded repeatedly simply by relying on their numbers, but today they had run into a hard nut to crack. One of the more hot-tempered street thugs snapped, "You little bitch, you think you're something special?"

Liu Chuxue glanced at him: *Fine, you're next.*

She stepped forward and reached out. Before the others could react, she had already hauled him out.

She had intended to grab him by the collar to teach him a lesson, but unfortunately, she lacked the height. Instead, she grabbed his arm and delivered a triple strike to his abdomen.

However, she had restrained her strength; she only wanted to give them a lesson, not truly injure them. As an outsider, if things escalated too far, she feared it would be difficult to escape the consequences.

The leader was now terrified. There were only eight of them in total; three were already lying on the ground, and this one was now curled up like a shrimp. This woman was even more ruthless than they were.

The man who had pleaded for mercy earlier stepped forward again. "Heroine, stop! It really is a misunderstanding. We're leaving, we're leaving right now!"

As he spoke, he urged the others, "Quick, quick, quick! Get everyone out of here!"

The remaining men were quite clever and moved quickly, dragging the groaning men from the ground to make their escape.

Liu Chuxue wasn't about to let them leave so easily. "Stop! Who said you could leave?"

As she spoke, she picked up a small stone from the roadside and held it up in front of them, her voice laced with a threat. "Do you see what this is?"

Fear was etched on their faces, but hidden in their eyes were traces of malice and hatred; they were likely all calculating how to deal with her.

The boy who had apologized earlier spoke up first. "We know, we know. It's a stone. You don't need to act like a fool."

Liu Chuxue said nothing more. Instead, right before their eyes, she applied force, and the stone instantly crumbled into powder. "I don't want to cause trouble, but I'm not afraid of it either. If you want to try your luck, I'm ready whenever you are."

It wasn't that she hadn't considered knocking them all out and handing them over to the police station. However, these people clearly hadn't just appeared overnight, and she didn't believe the local police would be unaware of them. There were likely social connections and favors involved. She decided it was better to let it go; in these times, self-preservation was the most important thing.

She didn't want to fail before she had even truly begun. It was better to keep a low profile.

This display not only stunned the thugs but also caused the elderly gentlemen watching from a distance to exchange glances. *Whoa, she actually has real martial arts skills.*

The vengeful thoughts that had just begun to form in the thugs' minds vanished like smoke. This wasn't some weak, easy-to-bully girl; she was clearly a female Rakshasa.

The leader was relatively clear-headed. "Today, we were blind to your greatness. We brothers apologize to you. From now on, we'll definitely give you a wide berth. Please, show us some mercy."
