Mrs. Fu watched the drama unfold from the sidelines. Her refusal to intervene was purely because she looked down on Qiao Nian and felt it was beneath her to personally deal with such a minor character.

Since Shen Qiongzhi, her adoptive mother, was present, she only needed to watch the show.
