Chapter 4: I Summon My Fists in an Attack Stance

The assistant director named "Fujita," wearing a school uniform he had stolen from the locker room, checked his watch and waited anxiously for the "male lead" to arrive. As he watched the time, he kept muttering, "The director just knows how to boss me around," and "Why isn't Yugi here yet?" Every now and then, he would look up and glance in a certain direction.

After a few dozen seconds, he looked up again and finally saw a timid figure appearing around the corner, panting for breath.

"He's here, he's here!" Fujita was quite excited and hurried toward the figure that had just appeared. "Yugi, you finally showed up!"

As he spoke, he didn't forget to lower his voice, terrified of attracting anyone else.

The small figure that had appeared was none other than Mutou Yugi.

After the lunch break bell rang, he had agreed to the Nth revenge challenge initiated by Jonouchi, resulting in a tense and exciting game of Duel Monsters. Unsurprisingly, thanks to his skillful use of Magic Cards, Jonouchi’s Nth challenge failed once again.

It was only then that Yugi belatedly recalled that someone had asked him during the break to go out during lunch, saying that "there is a celebrity in the school, and I can take you to meet them." Remembering this, Yugi declined the "let's eat lunch together" invitation from Jonouchi and the others, and hurried to the agreed-upon location.

Seeing that the classmate named "Fujita" was indeed waiting there, Yugi, who had been worried about being tricked, couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. He had been afraid that once he arrived, he would find that no one was there.

Beyond the relief, he also began to feel a sense of anticipation—what kind of celebrity could it be?

Yugi was holding a bouquet of flowers he had prepared in advance; he intended to give them to the celebrity he hadn't met yet. After all, it would be too embarrassing to come empty-handed. As for where the flowers came from—the school's flower beds had such a wide variety of flowers.

Seeing Yugi arrive, the director hiding in the bushes was quite excited and quickly nudged the cameraman crouching next to him with his elbow: "Alright, hurry and turn the camera over, it's about to start!"

Yugi walked up to Fujita. Just as he was about to apologize for his lateness, Fujita spoke up impatiently: "Hey, you finally made it, Yugi. You really kept me waiting for a long time~"

You have to understand, although it was already autumn, that didn't mean the summer heat had completely faded. The scorching sun at noon still had quite a bite to it, and Fujita was already feeling irritable from the heat. He felt no burden at all regarding the short kid in front of him who was about to get beaten up without knowing it. In his mind, it was all Yugi's fault for making him wait so long; he deserved a beating.

But Yugi didn't catch the trace of irritation in Fujita's words. He first bowed slightly with an apologetic face: "I'm truly sorry, Fujita-kun. I didn't remember this right away and kept you waiting." As he spoke, he looked around, "By the way, Fujita-kun, I remember you said there was a 'celebrity,' right?"

"I don't seem to see anyone else here?"

Taking advantage of Yugi turning his head to look around, a vicious smile appeared on Fujita's face, but it was quickly disguised as a kind expression as he said to Yugi: "Actually—"

"No, you have to lean your ear over first, and then I'll tell you."

Yugi did exactly as Fujita said, obediently leaning his head over to hear the whisper clearly. But behind Fujita, where Yugi couldn't see, his left hand was already clenched into a fist, waiting for Yugi to lean in so he could land a heavy punch.

The director in the bushes was very excited, even crumpling the paper tube he was holding: "That's it, that's it, hurry up and hit him, make it intense, Fujita."

Yugi's head was already leaning in. The vicious smile on Fujita's face was no longer hidden, and the fist hidden behind his back smashed fiercely toward Yugi's face!

"Smack!"

The sound of flesh colliding reached Yugi's ears. Before he could even see the fist Fujita was throwing at him, he saw a slap suddenly land on the face of Fujita, who had been whispering in his ear, sending him flying.

The director hiding in the bushes was so excited he almost stood up. He had indeed filmed a scene of "school bullying," but the problem was, the one being "bullied" wasn't his intended "male lead" Mutou Yugi, but rather Fujita, whom he had sent out to play the "bully"!

"Ugh!" Sitting up from the ground while clutching his swollen cheek, Fujita had been so focused on Yugi that he hadn't noticed anyone approaching. It wasn't until he was hit that he realized someone had come near.

Yugi also turned his head and saw several familiar faces. Not yet understanding the situation, he asked in confusion: "Jonouchi, Honda, Anzu? Why are you here, and why did you hit Fujita-kun?"

"Of course, it's because this guy was trying to hit you just now~" A person stepped out from behind Jonouchi, holding a stylish card camera in his hand.

"Kobayashi-kun, why are you here too?" Yugi was even more confused. He remembered Kobayashi-kun as being quite a loner; few classmates had interacted with him. Because of his outstanding looks, Kobayashi-kun and his classmate Seto Kaiba were even jokingly called the "Iceberg Handsome" duo by the girls.

Why would Kobayashi-kun, who had never had any interaction with him, appear here?

"(You little brats, how dare you hit me!)" Fujita, who had just been blindsided by Jonouchi's slap, was furious. While shouting threats, he swung his fists and charged toward Yugi's side. However, because his cheek was swollen from Jonouchi's heavy-handed slap, his threats sounded strangely comical.

"Hmph, just as well, I haven't hit enough yet!" Jonouchi said with a cold face, charging toward Fujita. With just one strike, he knocked down Fujita, who looked imposing on the surface but was actually weak and hollow inside. Grabbing Fujita by the collar and shaking him hard, Jonouchi made strange "Ora Ora" sounds.

"Honestly, Yugi, if Kobayashi-kun hadn't told us, you would have been beaten up just now." Anzu walked to Yugi's side. Because of Yugi's absurd height, Anzu, who wasn't particularly tall herself, had to slightly crouch and lower her head to face him, looking just like a kindergarten teacher talking to a child.

Shaking the camera in his hand, Hayato said calmly: "It's all thanks to 'Little Ribbon' Nozaka-san. Without her camera, I wouldn't have been able to record the evidence." Tied to the camera in Hayato's hand was a yellow anti-slip strap, along with a sticker featuring the name "Miho."

Could I get some collections and recommendations? Please, I'm begging you.
