Chapter 14: Ambush? (First Update)

Watching the intense battle, Black Knight broke into a cold sweat. Could his good friend really defeat Emilyka?

At the same time, a magnificent hammer, larger than his own head, had appeared in Baili Yuan's hands at some unknown point, and he was holding it high.

"Kazuki, watch out!" Black Knight shouted reflexively, drawing everyone's attention toward Kazuki.

"What?" Kazuki was startled to hear his friend call him. The battle was clearly over; was there something else?

At that moment, the sound of something breaking through the air came from behind him.

*Oh no, an ambush!* Kazuki thought to himself. He was about to react, but his current physical strength could not support a dodging maneuver.

Then... Kazuki felt a sharp pain at the back of his head, his vision went black, and there was nothing more.

Everyone was stunned by this sudden turn of events.

Someone actually launched an ambush at a time like this???

But when everyone realized that the attacker was a child of about five years old, still possessing childish innocence, their mouths twitched simultaneously.
