Chapter 54: Release Remarks

Before I knew it, the time for the official launch has arrived, and I am incredibly excited.

From the moment I typed "Gui Meng" on October 3, 2015, to 2024, it has actually been nearly nine years.

I wrote *Diva* in 2018, which performed reasonably well. Later, following a group reform, I chased after sensationalist plot points and wrote something that was a complete mess. One book after another became increasingly lackluster, so I left to write elsewhere.

Looking back on the past, I am suddenly struck by emotion: how many five-year periods does a person have, and how many nine-year periods?

I did a self-reflection during this year's Lunar New Year, and after much thought, I decided to come back.

I don't have enough energy to compete with the younger generation anymore; I might as well go back to my hometown and farm!

My first pot of gold was earned here, so I always have a unique feeling toward Qidian. Perhaps this is an obsession with a "first love" or a "white moonlight."
