Dual Transmigration: Starting as a Reseller
Chapter 34: Blackwater Company! Gang Warfare
Chen Feng followed Jack out of the bar, where several business vans were already waiting at the entrance.
Upon entering one of the vans, Chen Feng discovered that the windows were completely sealed, isolating them from the outside world. Even the driver's seat was obscured by black cloth.
Jack explained, "Chen, please understand, this is the rule."
Chen Feng nodded without a word. With his current strength, he had no reason to fear a gang leader of the modern world.
After an hour of driving, the vehicle came to a halt. They arrived at a remote harbor, where a small cruise ship was docked. Jack led Chen Feng through a special passage into the vessel. At the entrance of the cruise ship, there were dedicated personnel conducting body searches.
After the inspection, Chen Feng and Jack were escorted to a lounge on the ship. The entire lounge was filled with gang members dressed in black suits and sunglasses, their waists bulging with concealed weapons.
A group was already waiting in the lounge: three men and one woman, each accompanied by several bodyguards. Jack led Chen Feng to sit aside and whispered in his ear
"These are our gang's major clients. Those three are from the Middle East; they are incredibly wealthy and purchase a massive amount of weapons from us every year."
Chen Feng took a glance; sure enough, the three men were wearing traditional headscarves, clearly Middle Eastern.
"That is Ms. Park from Korea. She is from the Seven Star Society and is also one of our major clients," Jack introduced the woman with an Asian face.
The woman sat on the lounge sofa. Her curvaceous figure, paired with a white suit, gave her the unmistakable aura of a gang boss. Noticing Chen Feng watching her, she arched a delicate eyebrow and asked, "Are you that man from Dragon Country?"
Ms. Park spoke in Korean. In the world of underground arms trading, Chen Feng was already a notable figure, having made multiple weapon purchases. As a member of the underworld, Ms. Park was aware that Jack had a major client from Dragon Country.
Chen Feng had never studied Korean and could not understand what she was saying, so he chose to ignore her. Seeing that Chen Feng was not responding, Ms. Park's expression soured instantly, but since this was not her territory, she refrained from making a scene.
Just as she was about to ask again in English, a group of people entered the lounge.
It was a squad of fully armed soldiers, carrying submachine guns and equipped with various tactical gear. Their appearance created a sharp contrast with the gang members. Seeing them, Ms. Park and the three Middle Eastern men visibly tensed up; their men had not been allowed to bring weapons onto the ship.
At the front of the group were two men. One was a massive bald man with explosive muscles, and beside him stood a man in a suit.
Jack stepped forward to greet the muscular man. "Boss!"
Chen Feng had heard Jack refer to his boss as Stone before, though he knew nothing else about him. Stone nodded to Jack, then glanced at the people in the lounge and said, "Welcome, guests who have traveled from afar."
Stone had a smile on his face, a polite demeanor that seemed somewhat mismatched with his powerful physique.
"Let me introduce you. This is the head of arms sales for Blackwater, Mr. William," Stone introduced the man in the suit. The man's expression was cold, showing no intention of greeting anyone.
However, everyone present except for Chen Feng stood up to greet Mr. William. Blackwater was a name that carried immense prestige worldwide. As a private military company, Blackwater could accomplish anything you desired as long as you had the money—even invading a small country was within their capabilities. Their military strength was incomparable to that of a mere gang.
Neither Ms. Park nor the Middle Eastern men dared to act arrogant at this moment.
William and Stone sat down in the lounge to begin discussions. After listening for a while, Chen Feng grasped the general situation. Stone's arms channels came from Blackwater; he acted as a middleman. He was planning to place a large order with Blackwater to expand his arms business. He had brought people like Chen Feng here to prove the strength of his gang to Blackwater, thereby securing the order.
"Mr. William, my clients come from all over the world. Their strength is beyond question; they can absolutely absorb this shipment!" Stone said politely to William.
Despite being a gang leader, he was truly nothing in front of Blackwater. The company possessed professional mercenary teams comparable to special forces.
William crossed his legs and said, "Stone, Blackwater no longer intends to cooperate with your 'Limp and Blood' gang."
Stone froze, his eyes filled with disbelief. "Mr. William, what do you mean by that?"
At that exact moment, the special forces following William raised their submachine guns, aiming them at everyone in the room. Simultaneously, Stone's men drew their pistols.
The tension was instantaneous!
No one expected things to turn so violent so suddenly. Ms. Park and the others turned pale. William remained seated, sighing as he spoke
"You are a good business partner, but unfortunately, you have been targeted by the Eagle Federation. A congressman has paid a high price for us to clear you out, so I can only say, I'm sorry."
Hearing William's words, Stone's eyes widened. "A federal congressman! Why? William, I have worked with your company for so many years..."
Before Stone could finish, a mercenary opened fire. Stone was instantly riddled with bullets, collapsing into a pool of blood. Seeing this, Stone's gang members immediately returned fire.
A continuous volley of gunfire erupted in the lounge. The shooting lasted only thirty seconds before ceasing, leaving the lounge covered in corpses. Aside from Chen Feng, Jack, and the clients, all the gang members had been killed. These gang members were no match for Blackwater's professional mercenaries; the gap in capability was too vast.
Ms. Park, the Middle Eastern men, and Jack all wore expressions of pure terror.
William seemed quite satisfied with their fear. He smiled and said, "Rest assured, Blackwater will not touch our clients. Stone's life was bought by a congressman. I will deliver you all to the FBI later; consider it a gift for that congressman."
While Blackwater was powerful, they occasionally had to show respect to various governments. When a federal congressman ordered them to eliminate Stone, Blackwater agreed without a second thought. Wiping out one gang might mean losing some business, but it would make their future operations within the Eagle Federation much smoother.
Chen Feng looked at Stone's corpse, riddled with bullets, and felt speechless. He had only come here to buy weapons, only to get caught up in this mess. He truly had the worst luck imaginable.
Naturally, he had no intention of letting these people hand him over to the FBI.
