Cultivation Starts from Being a Servant
Chapter 31: A Letter to You
I am but a lazy soul from a humble background, one whose nature delights in the simplicity of bamboo and whose brush seeks refuge in the drifting clouds and mist. Occasionally, I take up a worn brush to scribble characters for my own amusement; little did I expect that these ink traces might unexpectedly catch a discerning eye amidst the halls of literature.
I have come to realize that there are many paths within the literary world. I am fortunate to have received the guidance of a mentor, yet my innate talent is dull, and I have yet to master the art of profound composition. My literary spirit is crude and unrefined, relying entirely on solitary, painstaking practice. Some may mimic greatness only to stumble, or strive for perfection only to fall short; yet, you have not discarded me, but instead bestowed pearls upon mere rubble.
As this new volume unfolds, my gratitude is profound. Though I lack the brilliant brush of a master, I am willing to exert every ounce of my meager strength. Should I receive even a few words of appreciation, I shall devote all my nocturnal energies to repay you. I humbly offer these unpolished words and bow deeply to express my gratitude for your noble kindness.
Hahahaha, in truth, this is just my "Author's Note" for the launch. I am a lazy person by nature, and writing is simply a way to entertain myself. I am overjoyed to have received such recognition from the Qidian platform and the editors, as well as the support from all my readers. I have no way to repay you other than to keep typing!
