After Understanding the Language of Beasts, the Villainess Is Guaranteed a Heartthrob Script
Chapter 34: Can Auntie Give Birth to Kittens?
Four-Eyes heard the police officer requesting backup and immediately called his brothers to retreat.
After finishing the call on the balcony, the officer turned around and caught a blurry glimpse of a canine shadow.
He frowned and walked quickly to the bedroom door, but there was no dog in sight.
There was only that piece of trash, the man with the fleshy mole, who was even worse than a dog.
Jiang Yuan and Jiang Die's family of three went to the police station to give their statements.
Walking out of the station, Jiang Yuan suggested, "Sis, why don't you guys move back home for a while? It's almost Chinese New Year, it'll be livelier if we all live together."
Jiang Die lowered her eyelashes, looking somewhat hesitant.
Being able to come home for meals occasionally was already enough to satisfy her.
Even if she wanted to thick-skin her way back to live there, it would be impossible; after all, the house had few rooms—only two.
In the past, Jiang Die and Jiang Yuan shared a room. It was probably around puberty when Jiang Yuan started making a fuss about wanting her own space.
Later, when Jiang Die became unexpectedly pregnant, Jiang Dashan flew into a rage and kicked her out of the house.
Although the old saying goes that having a stepmother means having a stepfather, Jiang Die knew in her heart that Deng Rui had never mistreated her.
As for Jiang Yuan—
She was her own sister. Even though they were half-sisters, Jiang Die had never thought of holding a grudge against her.
In her eyes, her sister was just temperamental and a bit willful.
"Yuan Yuan," Jiang Die looked at Jiang Yuan's fair face and said softly, "I know you're worried about us, but since he's injured like that and currently in detention, he shouldn't be able to do much."
"Sis!" Jiang Yuan's tone grew more serious. "Even if he's in detention, if he has the intention to seek revenge, he has plenty of ways. Just listen to me once, okay?"
"But..." Jiang Die pursed her lips and said in a low voice, "there isn't enough room at home."
Jiang Yuan blinked, then let out a long sigh of relief and smiled. "Sis, you, Zhan Zhan, and Mo Mo can just sleep with me."
Jiang Die frowned. "I'm afraid they'll disturb you."
"I like it when they disturb me." Jiang Yuan leaned down to look at the two little ones. "I've been an aunt for so many years and I've never even slept with them before."
Jiang Die wanted to say more, but Jiang Yuan waved her hand dismissively. "Sis, it's decided!"
That evening, Jiang Yuan led her sister's family and Xiao Bai back home.
When Deng Rui saw her carrying a small white dog in her arms, an ominous premonition immediately rose in her heart.
"Jiang Yuan, you..." Mrs. Deng was about to launch into a scolding when she suddenly caught sight of the other three people behind Jiang Yuan. Her tense face instantly blossomed into a brilliant smile.
"Eh! Xiao Die, Zhan Zhan, and Mo Mo are here?"
Jiang Die smiled. "Mom."
Zhan Zhan and Mo Mo also obediently greeted her. "Grandma."
"Eh~" Deng Rui smiled even more brightly than a flower. "Good babies!"
Having said that, she gave Jiang Yuan a testing glance. Seeing that she wasn't unhappy, she immediately pulled the two little ones into the house.
"Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? Grandma will go buy it!"
Zhan Zhan said obediently, "Grandma, Auntie already took us to eat!"
Mo Mo asked in a milky voice, "Grandma, can we play with the kitty?"
Deng Rui said with a beaming smile, "Of course you can."
"Wow! There are two kitties!" Mo Mo cheered in her soft, sweet voice. "Why are there two kitties?"
Deng Rui: "Your aunt gave birth to them."
Jiang Yuan quietly mixed Xiao Bai into the pile of cats.
An expression of disbelief appeared on Mo Mo's small face. "Can Auntie give birth to kitties?"
Deng Rui replied without missing a beat or a heartbeat, "Yes, she can even give birth to puppies. Look, that little white dog is one she gave birth to today."
Mo Mo blinked her grape-like eyes, thinking for a moment before realizing her grandmother was joking with her.
"Grandma, Xiao Bai..." The little one began to introduce Xiao Bai's "life story" to her grandmother.
Deng Rui was listening intently when she suddenly looked up and saw Jiang Yuan pushing a suitcase into the house.
"Whose luggage is this?" she asked.
Jiang Yuan said indifferently, "Your eldest daughter's and her children's."
"My eldest daughter..." Deng Rui turned to look at Jiang Die, seemingly unable to believe it. "Is this for real?"
Jiang Die nodded gently. "Mom, we might need to stay at the house for a while."
Deng Rui frowned.
Jiang Die's hand on her lap curled slightly, an uneasy feeling fluttering in her heart.
She had been too impulsive; knowing the situation at home, she had brought the children back to stay.
"Maybe we should still..."
"Are you stupid?" Deng Rui interrupted her. "How can coming back to your own home be called 'disturbing'?"
"You and the kids can stay in our room. I'll sleep with Yuan Yuan, and your father can sleep in the living room."
Deng Rui's earlier frown was because she was planning how the four adults and two children would sleep.
Now it was Jiang Yuan's turn to frown. "I don't agree."
Deng Rui: "Are you trying to make me sleep in the living room with your father?"
Unfilial daughter!
Jiang Yuan crossed her legs and said lazily, "My sister and the kids can just sleep with me. There's no need to move your rooms."
Deng Rui's eyes instantly widened like copper bells.
Jiang Yuan: "Why are you looking at me like that?"
There were some things Deng Rui couldn't say directly, so she just said, "Looking at how pretty you are."
Jiang Yuan curled her lips. "Thanks, I've always been pretty."

While giving his statement, Zhan Zhan told the police officer that the Paw Patrol was the reinforcement his aunt had called.
The police simply took it as a child's fantasy.
The Paw Patrol only exists in cartoons.
Besides, how could one person command so many dogs?
Because it was the first time anyone had seen a dozen dogs besiege a human, even though it wasn't a major case, it spread through various chat groups.
A group of criminal investigators gathered at a BBQ stall for a late-night snack.
Seeing this case, Meng Xiaokai read it aloud in a low voice, "These dozen or so dogs are amazing. I'm willing to call it an act of bravery!"
A colleague beside him asked in surprise, "But how did the dogs know that scumbag was doing something bad?"
"Could someone have ordered those dogs to bite him?" Meng Xiaokai finished, then immediately contradicted himself. "No, some of those are stray dogs. No one could command them."
Si Heng listened quietly, his slender fingers gripping a glass as he took a sip of orange soda.
He felt that one person could.
Si Heng took out his phone, opened the messaging interface, and typed a few words before deleting them one by one.
He mentally recited the phone number, switched to the WeChat interface, entered the number, and sent a friend request.
On the other side.
Jiang Yuan took out a new set of four-piece bedding.
Jiang Die came into the room after showering. Seeing Jiang Yuan acting as if she were sweating profusely and disheveled, she said amusedly, "Yuan Yuan, go take a shower. I'll change them."
Jiang Yuan felt as if she had found a savior. "Thanks, Sis! Kiss-kiss!"
She made a blowing-a-kiss gesture.
Jiang Die was utterly helpless.
After showering, Jiang Yuan sat on the sofa, eating fruit and playing on her phone, when she suddenly saw a new friend request on WeChat.
Si Heng?
She raised an eyebrow and accepted the request.
A moment later, she received his message.
Si Heng: [Miss Jiang, I heard that a dozen dogs besieged a person today.]
Jiang Yuan took a bite of an apple and smiled.
Jiang Yuan: [Are you sure it was a person?]
Si Heng: [It seems my guess was correct.]
Jiang Yuan: [I thought Captain Si was adding me to WeChat to pay me a consultation fee.]
Si Heng: [Indeed.]
He transferred fifty thousand yuan to her.
Jiang Yuan didn't act coy and accepted the money generously.
The next day, a sum of money suddenly arrived in her bank account, with the transfer note: "Criminal Investigation Consultation Fee."
Staring at the fifty thousand yuan she had received last night, Jiang Yuan fell into deep thought.
