After Understanding the Language of Beasts, the Villainess Is Guaranteed a Heartthrob Script

Chapter 31: A Room Full of Rats Seeking Revenge

Jiang Yuan's mention of transferring money was, of course, a joke.

The system had already rewarded her two million.

Before her awakening, she would have accepted the money without a moment's hesitation.

But now, she wanted to change.

She had no intention of being the villainous female supporting character who caused her friends to die tragic deaths!

Seeing that Jiang Yuan was unwilling to eat or accept the money, Gu Yiwei proposed exchanging contact information.

Jiang Yuan agreed.

Having Gu Yiwei's number would make it easier for her to meet the Tiger Brothers; after all, Hu Rui had saved her life today.

When she returned to the bottom of her building, several little mice and small sparrows were waiting for her.

"Yuan Yuan, you're finally back!" Mary the sparrow fluttered her wings, flying around her.

Jack the little mouse squeaked at her feet, "Yuan Yuan, I've brought so many relatives and friends. They are all waiting for your command."

Jiang Yuan curled her lips into a smile. "Well done."

Mary the sparrow also chirped, "Sparrows have also brought many, many friends to help!"

Jiang Yuan raised an eyebrow. "Great job."

Being praised, Jack and Mary were both overjoyed.

"Yuan Yuan, do we start the action now?" Jack asked excitedly.

It was his first time organizing such a large-scale event.

A faint smile played on Jiang Yuan's lips. "Wait a moment. I'm going to call people to watch the show."

"Is there a good show?" Fu Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up.

Jiang Yuan kept it brief: "Last time, Cao Laoting tried to introduce a man in his forties to my sister, and yesterday she was spreading rumors about me again. She made Ms. Deng so angry that I plan to teach her a lesson."

"That damn old hag!" Fu Xiaoxiao clenched her fists. "Kill her!"

Looking at her indignant expression, Jiang Yuan froze for a moment.

In her dreams, every time she said she was going to deal with someone, Fu Xiaoxiao would support her unconditionally like this.

"What a fool," she murmured.

Fu Xiaoxiao let out an "Ah?" "Yuan Yuan, who's a fool?"

"You," Jiang Yuan reached out and rubbed her hair. "The number one fool in Yunjing."

Fu Xiaoxiao pouted. "Why are you suddenly calling me a fool?"

Jiang Yuan: "A cute fool."

Fu Xiaoxiao immediately brightened up again. "You went all that way just to say I'm cute!"

Jiang Yuan smiled and took out her phone to make a call.

She called Deng Rui and Jiang Dashan downstairs.

"So mysterious, why are you calling us down?" Deng Rui was busy binge-watching a drama and was right at the most exciting part. "You're interrupting my show!"

Jiang Dashan walked behind her holding a scarf and caught up to wrap it around her. "It's cold outside."

Jiang Yuan said with a beaming smile, "You'll know in a moment."

She said to Jack the mouse and Mary the sparrow, "Alright friends, let the action begin."

The residential area where Jiang Yuan lived consisted of old-style apartment buildings. They weren't very tall—only five stories, with one household per floor.

Cao Laoting lived on the second floor of Building 3. The army of mice displayed their various talents: some climbed the stairs, ascending step by step like well-trained mountaineers, while others climbed up the external pipes with great agility.

Deng Rui and Jiang Dashan were dumbfounded when they saw a dense swarm of mice crawling out from the shadows.

"My god! So many mice!"

"How terrifying!"

As soon as those words fell, many birds suddenly flew out from the trees.

"Sparrows, cuckoos, crows..." Jiang Dashan recognized many different kinds of birds.

Not far away, a neighbor cried out in alarm, "So many birds, so many mice... could something catastrophic be about to happen?"

"A celestial omen! Amitabha..."

Fu Xiaoxiao found it hilarious and covered her mouth to giggle.

It wasn't a celestial omen; it was her Yuan Yuan getting revenge!

At this moment, Cao Laoting had no idea she was about to suffer. She sat with her feet up at home, badmouthing the neighbors to her husband and daughter.

"That wench Jiang Yuan said a few words of nonsense and actually earned a hundred thousand! By what right?"

"Xinxin, why don't you learn from that wench? You could make that much money in no time!"

Wang Xinyue leaned lazily against the sofa, feeling a bit tempted. "I could give it a try."

As she spoke, she felt a slight itch on her head and neck. She reached up to scratch, only to suddenly grab something furry.

Wang Xinyue held it in her hand, and upon closer inspection, she screamed in terror: "Ah—a mouse!"

"Don't talk nonsense! You'll bring bad luck!" Just as Cao Laoting finished speaking, a mouse suddenly flew into her arms. "Mother of mercy!"

Cao Laoting jumped in fright.

As she stood up, she realized her home had been invaded by mice.

The house was full of mice!

The dense swarm made her scalp tingle. "How can this be happening?"

Wang Xinyue was in a complete breakdown, wailing hysterically, "Ahhh! I hate these mice! They're so disgusting! Someone do something, ahhh!"

"Wang Hui, what are you standing there for? Hurry up and kill these stinking mice!" Cao Laoting snapped angrily.

Jack the little mouse snorted, "Uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, and little ones—this old hag said she wanted to kill us, and she bullies Yuan Yuan! Everyone, charge! Get her!"

As soon as the mouse-speak was uttered, the mice swarmed onto them.

"You got it, little Jack!"

"Old hag, feel the power of the mice!"

Screams rang out continuously.

"Help! Help me—!"

"Ahhh, I'm going crazy!"

"Get away, you stinking mice!"

No matter how they shook their bodies, the mice clung to them firmly like expert climbers.

Hearing the screams from downstairs, Deng Rui laughed so hard her eyes disappeared. "Oh my, how pitiful... though they say those who are pitiful often have something hateful about them~"

Jiang Yuan hooked her arm around her mother's shoulder. "How is it? Isn't this much more interesting than your drama?"

"So interesting!" Deng Rui nodded repeatedly.

The corners of Jiang Yuan's mouth curled up. "I staged this specifically for you."

"Good girl!" Deng Rui smiled and reached out with both hands to pinch her cheeks, unable to resist giving her a kiss.

Beside them, Jiang Dashan felt a surge of jealousy. "Rui, why didn't you kiss me?"

"Go away!" Deng Rui rolled her eyes at him.

At that moment, Cao Laoting's family of three rushed downstairs, their tear-streaked faces distorted with rage, with dense clusters of mice still clinging to them.

They thought that since there were many people walking downstairs, the mice would attack other neighbors and share their misery.

But to their surprise, the misery didn't lessen; it intensified!

A flock of birds suddenly flew over their heads and began defecating.

Bird droppings fell like snowflakes.

The neighbors, seeing such a scene for the first time, were all dumbstruck.

"Ahhh! Bird poop fell into Sister Cao's mouth!"

"What are we going to do?"

"Good heavens! Has Wang Hui's family offended the mice and the birds?"

Some neighbors whispered among themselves.

"Is it because they've done too many bad things? Is this divine retribution?"

"That family is inhuman; they deserve it!"

A few neighbors, worried about mice entering their own homes, demanded that the property management call someone to exterminate them.

The sharp-witted Jack the mouse issued the command: "Brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts—retreat!"

The army of mice vanished like a puff of smoke.

The birds, however, continued their relentless efforts.

They had wings, making escape easy.

Mary the sparrow led her sisters, using their sharp beaks to peck forcefully at their faces.

Jiang Yuan went to a nearby small shop to buy sunflower seeds, intending to share them with everyone.

After walking a few steps, she suddenly felt someone watching her from the shadows.

Jiang Yuan stopped and turned around, only to see a figure abruptly turn away and walk off with hurried steps.
