Chapter 6: He Knew Something Was Wrong With This Woman!

Jiang Yuan’s heart skipped a beat, and her hands trembled slightly as she held the Princess Blue Cat.

She tried to remain calm: "Mr. Zhang, I’m a resident from upstairs."

"Do you know Jiang Jingyi?" Zhang Ye’s tone was no longer gentle, but carried a displeased interrogation.

"Who is Jiang Jingyi?" Jiang Yuan looked confused and stood up calmly. "By the way, which brand of cat litter does your fur baby use?"

"The packaging is over there, Miss Lan can take a look."

Zhang Ye stared at her back, his eyes filled with malice and scrutiny. His hand, hanging at his side, slowly reached toward the utility knife in his pants pocket.

When she came out of the police station, she found the grey magpie and its companions hadn't left.

A flock of birds chirped and flew around Jiang Yuan.

"Yuan-Yuan, were we awesome?"

Jiang Yuan curled her lips and smiled: "Very awesome. You helped me a lot. Thank you, I owe you a big meal. I need to take the Princess to the pet hospital now, do you want to come along?"
